### How to Create MetaMask Wallet

#### **Step 1: Install MetaMask**

* **Browser Extension**:
  1. Open a web browser. MetaMask supports URLs such as Chrome, Firefox, and Edge.
  2. Then, proceed to the official website of MetaMask: <https://metamask.io/download/>
  3. Click on "Download" and select the correct extension for your browser.
  4. Follow the prompts to add it to your browser.
* **Mobile App**:
  1. If you have an iOS device, open the App Store on your mobile device; for Android, go to the Google Play Store.
  2. Look and download "MetaMask".

**Step 2: Create a New Wallet**

1. **Open MetaMask**:
   * If you're using a browser extension, click the MetaMask icon in your browser toolbar.
   * For a mobile app, just open it from your device.
2. **Get Started**:
   * Click "Get Started" to set it up.
3. **Create a Wallet**:
   * Choose "Create a Wallet".
   * Agree or not to Improve MetaMask by sharing anonymous usage data (optional).
4. **Set password:**
   * Create a strong password for your wallet. Logically, this has to be different and strong for enhanced security.
   * Confirm the password and click "Create".

**Step 3: Secure Your Wallet**

1. **Secret Backup Phrase**:
   * MetaMask will give you a 12-word secret backup phrase. This is important for recovering your wallet if you forget your password or lose access to your device.
   * Now, you have to write this backup phrase on a piece of paper and store it safely. Never share it with anyone.
2. **Confirm Backup Phrase**:
   * The MetaMask will require your confirmation of the backup phrase by picking out the words in the correct order.
   * Once it is confirmed, the wallet setup is complete.<br>

**Step 4: Start Using MetaMask**

1. **Access Your Wallet**:
   * You can now access your wallet dashboard to get information about your balance, transaction history, and token holdings.
2. **Import Tokens**:
   * You can control other tokens by clicking "Import Tokens" and then searching for the token you wish to add to your wallet.
3. **Connect to DApps**:
   * You are connected to decentralized applications using MetaMask. When opened in the supported DApps, select MetaMask in the "Connect Wallet" option.

This will set up your MetaMask Wallet so it's ready to deal with digital assets and unlock a wide variety of decentralized applications on the Ethereum Network and beyond.


# Get USDT

Add USDT to the MetaMask wallet; this process is easy. Below is a step-by-step guide to adding USDT to your MetaMask wallet:

### **Step 1:  Log in to your Metamask Account**

First and foremost, log in to your Metamask account.

If you have not created a Metamask wallet, you can easily download and install the extension on your favorite browser directly from <https://metamask.io/download/>.

If you have logged in successfully or created a new wallet, you are ready to proceed to the next process.

### Step 2: Import USDT Tokens

Follow these easy steps to import the USDT tokens into your Metamask wallet:

1. Click on the "import tokens" button at the very bottom of your Metamask wallet extension.
2. You will be directed to the "Import Tokens" page. In the search field, enter "USDT" to get the Tether USDT token.
3. Select the Tether USDT token from the dropdown search results. You will see the token symbol, the number of decimal places for the token, the contract address and other information.
4. Click the "Import Tokens" button to import USDT to your Metamask wallet.

After the above steps, you have successfully imported the USDT tokens into your Metamask wallet for further transactions and operations on the Ethereum blockchain.

### Step 3: Send USDT to Your MetaMask Wallet

1. **Copy Your MetaMask Address**:
   * Click on your account name on the main MetaMask wallet page to copy your Ethereum wallet address. It will start with "0x."
2. **Transfer USDT**:
   * You will send USDT from another wallet or exchange (Binance, OKX, KuCoin, etc.) using your copied MetaMask address. Paste this address as a receiver for your USDT transfer.
3. **Confirm Transaction**:
   * Confirm the transfer. Then, wait a while until it passes on the Ethereum Blockchain.
